PastePal 是一款 macOS 剪贴板历史与效率工具。我们的核心设计原则是：您的剪贴板内容和个人数据尽可能留在您的设备本地，未经您的明确许可不会离开您的设备。请您在使用 PastePal（以下简称"本应用"）前，仔细阅读并充分理解本隐私政策。
为了提供剪贴板历史记录与搜索功能，本应用会在您的设备上处理并存储以下数据（这些数据仅保存在您的 Mac 本地，除非您主动启用 iCloud 同步，否则不会发送到任何地方）：

本应用运行于 macOS 沙盒环境，仅访问为实现功能所必需的权限：
⌘+V 粘贴。我们不会主动请求该权限，也不会在后台轮询检查权限状态；不开启该功能完全不影响基础的剪贴板记录与单击复制；我们仅在您设备本地使用上述信息，用于：
我们不会将您的任何信息用于广告、用户画像、营销或任何与上述功能无关的目的。
本应用提供一个可选功能：通过 Apple CloudKit 私有数据库在您同一 Apple ID 下的多台 Mac 间同步剪贴板历史、颜色标签、收藏等元数据。仅当您主动在设置中启用该功能后，相关数据才会经 iCloud 同步。请注意：
如果您不希望剪贴板内容离开您的设备，请保持 iCloud 同步关闭。
本应用处理的剪贴板历史与元数据均存储在您的 Mac 设备本地（应用容器目录与偏好设置）；若启用 iCloud 同步，加密后的数据会经 Apple iCloud 在您的 Apple ID 名下的设备间同步，不经过、不存储于我们的任何服务器。
您的剪贴板历史默认最多保留 1000 条（可在设置中调整为 50 - 1000 之间的任意值），超出上限会自动按时间顺序移除最早的记录。收藏的记录不会被自动清理。您可以随时通过应用内功能或删除本地数据目录彻底清除所有数据（见下文"您的权利"）。
由于数据完全由您的设备本地保管，请您妥善保管自己的设备与系统账户。我们建议：剪贴板中若包含高度敏感内容（如密码、密钥、证件号），请及时通过应用内"清空历史"功能清理，或调低历史记录最大条数。
您可以随时对您的数据行使以下权利：
本应用为本地工具类应用，不主动收集任何用户（包括未成年人）的个人信息。应用内剪贴板历史的内容由设备使用者自行决定。若您是未成年人的监护人，当您所监护的未成年人使用本应用时，请按本政策指引其使用，并提醒其不要将敏感信息复制到剪贴板。
我们可能适时对本隐私政策进行修订。若政策发生重大变更（尤其是涉及数据离开您设备的情形），我们将在应用内或通过官方网站以显著方式通知您。政策更新后继续使用本应用，即表示您接受更新后的政策。

PastePal is a clipboard history and productivity tool for macOS. Our core design principle is that your clipboard contents and personal data stay on your device whenever possible and never leave your device without your explicit permission. Please read and fully understand this Privacy Policy before using PastePal (the "App").
To provide clipboard history and search functionality, the App processes and stores the following data on your device (all of this data remains on your Mac and is never sent anywhere unless you actively enable iCloud sync):

The App runs in the macOS sandbox and only accesses the permissions strictly necessary for its features:

We do not use any of your information for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the functions described above.
The App provides an optional feature that syncs clipboard history, color tags, favorites, and other metadata across your Macs sharing the same Apple ID via Apple CloudKit private database. Only after you actively enable this feature in Settings will the relevant data be synced through iCloud. Please note:
If you do not want your clipboard contents to leave your device, please keep iCloud sync turned off.
Clipboard history and metadata processed by the App are stored locally on your Mac (app container directory and preferences). If iCloud sync is enabled, encrypted data is synced across devices under your Apple ID via Apple iCloud; it never passes through, nor is it stored on, any of our servers.
Your clipboard history retains up to 1000 entries by default (adjustable to any value between 50 and 1000 in Settings). Once the limit is exceeded, the oldest entries are removed first. Favorites are preserved and never auto-evicted. You may clear all data at any time via in-app features or by deleting the local data directories (see "Your Rights" below).
Since your data is kept entirely on your device, please keep your device and system account secure. We recommend promptly clearing history via the in-app "Clear History" function or lowering the maximum entry count if your clipboard contains highly sensitive content (such as passwords, keys, or ID numbers).
You may exercise the following rights over your data at any time:
The App is a local utility and does not actively collect personal information from any user, including minors. The content of the clipboard history is determined solely by the device user. If you are a guardian of a minor under your care, please guide their use of the App in accordance with this Policy and remind them not to copy sensitive information to the clipboard.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a material change occurs (especially any change involving data leaving your device), we will notify you prominently within the App or on our official website. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
