Fileon 是一款本地文件索引与语义搜索工具。我们的核心设计原则是：您的文件和个人数据尽可能留在您的设备本地，不经过我们的服务器。请您在使用 Fileon（以下简称"本应用"）前，仔细阅读并充分理解本隐私政策。
为了提供文件索引和搜索功能，本应用会在您的设备上处理并存储以下数据（这些数据仅保存在您的 Mac 本地，不会发送给任何人）：

本应用运行于 macOS 沙盒环境，仅访问您显式添加的文件夹：
我们仅在您设备本地使用上述信息，用于：
我们不会将您的任何信息用于广告、用户画像、营销或其他与上述功能无关的目的。
本应用默认使用本地模型（ONNX 格式的 Qwen3-Embedding 模型）进行语义计算，全程离线，不产生任何网络请求。模型文件由您自行从外部渠道获取并导入本应用，本应用本身不会联网下载任何模型。
本应用同时提供一个可选功能：允许您自行配置兼容 OpenAI 接口的第三方云端嵌入 API。仅当您主动创建并启用该配置后，被索引文件的文本分片将发送至您自行配置的云端服务端点（用于计算向量），您填写的 API 密钥也将随请求发送至该服务。请注意：
如果您不希望文件内容离开您的设备，请保持使用本地模型，不要启用云端嵌入配置。
本应用处理的所有数据均存储在您的 Mac 设备本地（主要为 ~/.fileon/ 目录与 ~/Library/Application Support/Fileon/ 目录），不经过、不存储于我们的任何服务器。
您的数据将一直保存在您的设备上，直至您主动删除（见下文"您的权利"），我们不会主动获取或删除。
由于数据完全由您的设备本地保管，请您妥善保管自己的设备与系统账户。我们建议：索引包含高度敏感内容的文件夹前，请评估相关风险；您可以随时通过应用内功能删除索引，或彻底删除本地数据目录。
您可以随时对您的数据行使以下权利：
~/.fileon/ 以及 ~/Library/Application Support/Fileon/，并卸载应用，即可完全移除本应用产生的全部数据；本应用为本地工具类应用，不主动收集任何用户（包括未成年人）的个人信息。应用内被索引的内容由设备使用者自行决定。若您是未成年人的监护人，当您所监护的未成年人使用本应用时，请按本政策指引其使用。
我们可能适时对本隐私政策进行修订。若政策发生重大变更（尤其是涉及数据离开您设备的情形），我们将在应用内或通过官方网站以显著方式通知您。政策更新后继续使用本应用，即表示您接受更新后的政策。

Fileon is a local file indexing and semantic search tool. Our core design principle is that your files and personal data stay on your device whenever possible and never pass through our servers. Please read and fully understand this Privacy Policy before using Fileon (the "App").
To provide file indexing and search functionality, the App processes and stores the following data on your device (all of this data remains on your Mac and is never sent to anyone):

We do not use any of your information for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the functions described above.
By default, the App uses a local model (Qwen3-Embedding in ONNX format) for semantic computation. This runs entirely offline and generates no network requests whatsoever. The model file is obtained by you from an external source and imported into the App; the App itself never downloads any model from the internet.
The App also provides an optional feature that allows you to configure a third-party cloud embedding API compatible with the OpenAI interface. Only after you actively create and enable such a configuration will the text chunks of indexed files be sent to the cloud endpoint you configured (to compute vectors), and the API key you provide will be sent to that service along with the requests. Please note:
If you do not want your file contents to leave your device, please continue using the local model and do not enable the cloud embedding configuration.
All data processed by the App is stored locally on your Mac (primarily in the ~/.fileon/ directory and the ~/Library/Application Support/Fileon/ directory). It never passes through, nor is it stored on, any of our servers.
Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it (see "Your Rights" below). We do not actively obtain or delete it.
Since your data is kept entirely on your device, please keep your device and system account secure. We recommend assessing the risks before indexing folders containing highly sensitive content. You can delete indexes via the App at any time, or completely remove the local data directories.
You may exercise the following rights over your data at any time:
~/.fileon/ and ~/Library/Application Support/Fileon/, then uninstall the App, to completely remove all data produced by the App;The App is a local utility and does not actively collect personal information from any user, including minors. The content indexed within the App is determined solely by the device user. If you are a guardian of a minor under your care, please guide their use of the App in accordance with this Policy.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a material change occurs (especially any change involving data leaving your device), we will notify you prominently within the App or on our official website. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
